In past times, people put up a 'soapbox' at the town square and address the crowd from it when they had something to say..

And a weblog like this is the Internet equivalent for that it seems.

I found that my writings were way too much spread out over the net, and wanted an easy way to post and manage them, and to allow others to comment on them.

So.. what can you expect to find here?
Mostly computer and internet related stuff, but with regular excursions into areas like law and politics.

Why would I write in English, being a native Dutchie?
Well, there are a lot more people speaking English or at least understanding it, and often the subjects I write about concern a lot more people then those who happen to be able to read Dutch.
